Doorstep Banking is a cash/cheque pickup and delivery service from different cash collection and payment points of your business. This service saves your regular commuting time to our branches for cash transactions. It is also very safe as the transportations of the cash/cheques will be done using bullet proof armored vehicles, which will be present at your preferred pickup/delivery points at a very affordable price.

Q How will the Bank provide me the service?
A Simple, our authorized service providers will be at your designated collection/ payment point to collect/deliver cash. The service provider will collect the cash /cheque and provide you a receipt copy of their company. The cash/cheque will then be transported by an armored vehicle to Standard Chartered Bank, and then will be deposited in your company account with us.
Q Your service providers will come to my cash collection / payment points whenever I call?
A No, our authorized service providers will be there as per the schedule which was agreed between you and Standard Chartered Bank. This service will be available from 9:00AM to 7:00PM on working days only. For example, as per your agreement with the bank our service providers will be at your premise at 3:00PM Monday every week provided Monday is not a government holiday. You can also take this service for five days a week and more than once a day to suit your convenience.
Q Who is Standard Chartered Bank’s service provider for Doorstep Banking?
A Group 4 Securicor (G4S) is our present service provider, a UK based company operating in more than 110 countries worldwide. G4S has unrivalled expertise in the cash management sector and continue to lead the market in developing solutions for a range of customers around the world.
Q Who will be responsible for the loss of cash due to any undesired events during transit?
A As soon as you handover the cash to our service provider and receive the receipt copy of the transaction, the responsibility to deposit the cash in your company account is ours. You will be fully compensated for the financial loss (not more than the amount deposited) during transit.
Q What is required to avail this service?
A You are required to maintain a company account and also sign up the Doorstep Banking agreement with Standard Chartered Bank.
Q What is the service charge?
A The service charge depends on three factors,
- Location of pickup/delivery points
- Daily number of pickups/drops
- Number of days per week the service will be availed
