Terms and Conditions
STANDARD CHARTERED CREDIT CARD REWARDS PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

The Standard Chartered Credit Card Rewards Program is open to all Eligible Cardmembers as herein defined, and for period as determined by Standard Chartered Bank Negara Brunei Darussalam ("The Bank").

Subject to the provision herein and in particular, item 3 below, Eligible Cardmember shall mean all Principal Cardmembers holding the Brunei Darussalam issued Standard Chartered Bank VISA and MasterCard Credit Cards (except corporate liability cards) which are valid, subsisting and in the opinion of Standard Chartered Bank in good standing.

Notwithstanding anything herein, Standard Chartered Bank has the absolute discretion at any time and from time to time to determine the eligibility of an otherwise Eligible Cardmember and shall not be obliged to give any reason thereof. Without limiting the generality of this provision, otherwise Eligible Cardmembers are those:
a. whose Principal Card Accounts have been terminated or closed;
b. who face legal proceedings or any threat thereof;
c. whose Accounts are otherwise determined by Standard Chartered Bank in its absolute discretion as being delinquent or unsatisfactorily conducted for any reason;
d. who are deceased or who face legal incapacity at any time for the duration of Cardmembership, up to the redemption period as specified in these Terms and Conditions, shall be disqualified and shall not be entitled to any discounts and benefits featured in this Program, payment or compensation whatsoever, or Rewards Vouchers (if applicable) that have been allocated or issued to them. -
All Principal Standard Chartered Cardmembers whose Card Accounts are in good standing, as determined by Standard Chartered Bank, at its sole discretion, are eligible to participate in the Program, subject to the Terms and Conditions herein.

If the Principal Cardmember's Card Accounts are terminated at any time for any reason, whether by the Principal Cardmember or Standard Chartered Bank, the Principal Cardmember will forthwith be disqualified from participating in this Program and all unused Standard Dollars (Std$ bonus points) then accrued shall automatically be cancelled and no longer be available for use by the Cardmember; such Std$ bonus points shall not be transferable to any other Card Account of the Cardmember.

If a Supplementary Card is terminated at any time for any reason, the Principal Cardmember will not be disqualified from participating in this Program.
STANDARD DOLLARS (STD$) POINTS ISSUANCE AND REDEMPTION

All eligible Standard Chartered Credit Cardmembers will earn 1 Std$ point for every B$5 charged to their Card Accounts subject to item 3 below. A card transaction will not be limited to the following:
a. Balance Transfers to the Standard Chartered Credit Card;
b. Cash Advances;
c. Fees and Charges including but not limited to annual card fee, cheque processing fees, administrative fees, finance charges, late payment charges and other miscellaneous fees and charges;
d. Overseas purchases. -
Std$ points shall be calculated on the amount of the card transactions effected on a daily basis and rounded down to the nearest Std$ points.

For EasyPay purchases, Std$ points will be awarded in full once the amount is charged to Cardmembers credit card account.

Notwithstanding, the following shall be excluded from the computation of Std$ points with respect to the Program:
a. Charges incurred by the Eligible Cardmember and / or his Supplementary Cardmember(s) but not submitted by the merchants or Banks or posted by Standard Chartered Bank to the Card Accounts during the term of the Program.
b. Amounts which have been rolled over from the preceding months' statements; For the avoidance of doubt, Standard Chartered Bank may in its absolute discretion determine, vary, amend or substitute the conversion rates of Std$ points to the amount charged under the Card Account without notice and assigning any reason therefore. -
In the event that a Card Account is cancelled and a new Card Account subsequently opened, the Std$ points from the cancelled Card Account will not be transferred to new Card Account.

The Cardmember must redeem any unused Std$ points before the expiry date of the Card Account. Such unused Std$ points remaining in the Card Account after its expiry date shall be forfeited by Standard Chartered Bank.

Unused Std$ points remaining in the Card Account shall not be transferred to the new Card Account when the Card is being renewed by Standard Chartered Bank. Instead, Standard Chartered Bank shall forfeit such unused Std$ points.

Standard Chartered Bank is entitled, for any reason, and at any time without liability or prior notice, to suspend the calculation and accrual of Std$ points, to rectify any errors In the calculation or otherwise adjust such calculation.

The Cardmember may, subject to the conditions herein and the respective qualifying Std$ points amounts, select and redeem any one or more of the Rewards which may from time to time be featured in the Program catalogue, Standard Chartered Bank's website or in any other of Standard Chartered Bank's Cardmember publications in whatsoever medium, via such redemption channel as Standard Chartered Bank may from time to time inform the Cardmember. The Cardmember agrees that the use of any particular channel shall be governed by its terms and conditions then in force.

Requests made via the Standard Chartered Bank redemption channel or such other redemption channel as Standard Chartered Bank may from time to time inform the Cardmember, shall be deemed to be duly made by the Principal Cardmember upon confirmation of the rewards.
ROYAL BRUNEI AIRLINES AIR MILES CONVERSION

A Principal Cardmember must be a Royal Skies member before redeeming Royal Skies air miles. If the Principal Cardmember is not a Royal Skies member, simply visit www.bruneiair.com to enroll.

Participation in Royal Skies Air Miles Conversion Programme is subject to the terms and conditions of Royal Brunei Airlines' Royal Skies Programme. Full details can be found on www.bruneiair.com.

A Principal Cardmember who is enrolled on the Royal Skies Programme can effect air miles transfers at the conversion rate and terms specified from time to time by Standard Chartered Bank.

Conversion of Std$ points to Royal Skies air miles may only be done in blocks of 500 Std$ points.

All Royal Skies air miles transferred by the Principal Cardmember must be to his/her own individual Royal Skies membership account bearing his/her own name.

Cancellation and change of redemption will not be allowed once Royal Skies air miles conversion request is accepted by Standard Chartered Bank.

The Principal Cardmember may refer to his/her online Royal Skies account statement for updated and accumulated miles.

Royal Skies air miles transfer to Royal Brunei Airlines Office will take approximately 5 working days. Uploading miles to individual Royal Skies account will be undertaken by Royal Brunei Airlines Offices. Standard Chartered Bank shall not be liable for any delay in the transfer process for any reason whatsoever.
SINGAPORE AIRLINES AIR MILES CONVERSION

The Principal Cardmember must be a KrisFlyer member before redeeming KrisFlyer miles. If the Principal Cardmember is not a KrisFlyer member, simply visit krisflyer.com to enroll and a membership number will be assigned immediately upon successful enrolment.

Participation in KrisFlyer miles conversion programme is subject to the terms and conditions of the SIA KrisFlyer Programme. Full details can be found on krisflyer.com.

Only a Principal Cardmember who is enrolled in KrisFlyer can effect miles transfers at the conversion rate of 1 Std$ point for 2.2 KrisFlyer miles, or such other rate as Standard Chartered may specify from time to time.

Conversion of Std$ points to KrisFlyer miles may only be done in blocks of 1000 Std$ points.

All KrisFlyer miles transferred by the Principal Cardmember must be to his/her own individual KrisFlyer account bearing his/her own name.

Cancellations and change of redemption will not be allowed once KrisFlyer miles conversion request is accepted by Standard Chartered Bank.

The Principal Cardmember may refer to his/her online KrisFlyer account statement for updated information.

The Principal Cardmember shall bear the responsibility to provide accurate information in this at the time of redemption.

KrisFlyer miles transfer to Singapore Airlines will take approximately 6 - 8 weeks.
GENERAL CONDITIONS

In these terms and conditions, unless the context otherwise requires: "Card" means a Standard Chartered Credit Card including all Standard Chartered Affinity Cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank Brunei Darussalam but excluding Standard Chartered Corporate Liability Credit Cards; "Cardmember" means Standard Chartered Visa/MasterCard Credit Cardmembers; "Discounts and Benefits" means any price deduction, benefit or other privileges as Standard Chartered Bank may from time to time in its absolute discretion determine, which may be claimed or obtained under this Program; "Merchandise" means the goods and services eligible for discounts and benefits under this Program; "Program" means the Standard Chartered Credit Card Rewards Program; "Rewards Program" means Rewards or Discounts and Benefits featured in this Program; "Rewards(s)" means any goods, services, benefits or other privileges as Standard Chartered Bank may from time to time in its absolute discretion determine, which may be redeemed or obtained by the use of Std$ points under this Program; "Rewards(s) Voucher" means the voucher issued by Standard Chartered Bank to the Cardmember for the purpose of claiming the goods, services, benefits or other privileges featured in the Program Catalogue.

All Rewards or Discounts and Benefits featured in the Program cannot be used to purchase merchandise on promotional / special offer, sale or discount; or used in conjunction with any discount / privilege membership card or promotional voucher or conditions stipulated by the participating merchants unless the Cardmember is informed otherwise by the respective participating merchant.

Delivery of Rewards vouchers or merchandise shall be made if presented at the address furnished by the Cardmember in the request form, if sent by post or courier, within ten (10) working days after posting or dispatch. However, Standard Chartered Bank will not be responsible for the vouchers or merchandise lost in transit.

Standard Chartered Bank will not be responsible for any delay in the posting of the transactions and / or the accrual of Std$ points that are performed during the Program.

Standard Chartered Bank shall not be liable if it is unable to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions, due directly or indirectly to the failure of any machine or communication system, industrial dispute, war, Act to God, or anything outside the control of Standard Chartered Bank or its servants or agents. Standard Chartered Bank shall not be responsible for delay in the transmission of sales transactions by [Card Acquiring Members of Visa and MasterCard]; merchant establishments; Visa International; MasterCard Worldwide; and postal and telecommunications authorities.

Standard Chartered Bank shall not in any way be held responsible for any aspect of the products or services provided under this Program by any participating merchants or third party operators, service providers or suppliers engaged by Standard Chartered Bank to provide such Rewards or Discounts and Benefits featured in this Program.

Standard Chartered Bank is not a supplier of products and services offered under this Program and shall not accept any liability in relation thereto. Standard Chartered Bank shall not be responsible for any injury, pain, suffering, loss or damage suffered by any Cardmember in connection with any of the products/services redeemed or purchased through this Program. Any dispute concerning goods or services received as a Reward or purchased under the Program shall be settled between the Cardmember and any participating merchants or third party operators which supplied the goods or services. Standard Chartered Bank shall bear no responsibility for resolving such disputes, or for the dispute itself. Standard Chartered Bank's records or decisions on all matters relating to this Program shall be conclusive and binding on the Cardmember and no correspondence shall be entertained. Without prejudice to any of Standard Chartered Bank's rights and remedies, Standard Chartered Bank may, at any time, in its absolute discretion and without giving any reason or notice, terminate this Program or vary, withdraw, cancel or invalidate the Rewards or Discounts and Benefits featured and/or Std$ points already issued and to change, add, delete any term or condition herein. Standard Chartered Bank shall not in any way be directly or vicariously liable or responsible to any participant of this promotion or their next of kin for any cancellation, delay or postponement of any reservation, flights, tickets, matches and for any loss, damage, cost, expenses claims, actions, injury or death incurred or suffered in respect of or resulting from or in connection with this promotion provided always that any of the aforesaid matters or events do not arise from or is attributable to any negligent act, omission, default or otherwise of Standard Chartered Bank, its servant or agents.
