Standard Chartered Bank Botswana Limited became a locally incorporated Public Company in 1975 and currently has 25% of its shares listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange.

Today, Standard Chartered Bank Botswana operates out of a network of 17 branches and agencies (11 branches, 6 agencies including the Francistown Excel Centre), which, added to a Loan Centre, Customer Call Centre and Head Office makes a total of 20 branches and corporate offices. With its branch network and large force of Direct Sales Representatives, Standard Chartered is able to service both retail and wholesale customers countrywide through its Consumer Banking and Wholesale Banking divisions.
