Do you process Visa applications?
No. All MBA applicants must be eligible to work in the country they apply to.
Do you only hire people with financial services experience?

What is the ideal profile of a Standard Chartered employee?

How many years have you been hiring MBAs?
We have been actively recruiting on campus for a number of years, and we have a high number of employees who are MBA graduates. Our MBA recruits don't enter a development programme when they join Standard Chartered. They take on a real role designed to broaden their horizons, develop their talent, challenge their thinking and give them the opportunity to excel.
I graduated from an MBA programme 3 years ago. Can I still apply for an MBA position at Standard Chartered?
Yes, we would welcome your application. However, please note that many of our MBA jobs are designed to suit recent graduates in terms of their development support framework.
Do I need to specify the location to which I would like to apply?
Yes, you should specify your geographical and functional preferences in your cover letter. And remember, you must be eligible to work in the country you apply to.
Does it make a difference which location I apply to?
No, but you must be eligible to work in the country you apply to.
Will my nationality affect where I'm located?
Our usual practice is to make offers for the country in which you are eligible to work.
What is the application deadline?
The deadline for applications depends on your business school.

How many rounds of interviews will I have to go through before I'm offered a job?
The interview process consists of three stages:
1) First interview with a case study
2) Telephone interview to assess your strengths and leadership potential
3) Final face-to-face interview with recruitment representatives in one of our office locations
Do you cover interview expenses?
We will pay for the cost of travel and accommodation if you have to travel to an overseas location for interviews.
Which other schools are you hiring from?
We hire from global MBA schools and we're scheduled to be on campus at a number of leading Business Schools including Columbia Business School, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School, IMD Business School, INSEAD, London Business School, New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

If you're studying at Columbia, Chicago GSB, Harvard, IMD, INSEAD, LBS, NYU Stern or Wharton, please apply through your business school system and follow your school's application process.
