Standard Chartered Bank in Colombia
Standard Chartered began its operations
in Colombia in 1995 with the establishment of a Representative
Office in Bogota. Full domestic commercial banking capacity
was established in 1998 upon the acquisition of a controlling
interest in Extebandes, now renamed Banco Standard Chartered.
Banco Standard Chartered is a locally licensed commercial
bank specializing in Corporate, Institutional Banking and
Treasury, with emphasis on cash management and trade finance.
