Standard Chartered Bank Falkland Islands, a member of the Standard Chartered Group was established in Stanley, the Falklands, in December 1983. As the only bank in the Falklands, Standard Chartered leads the way across industries through customer service excellence, consistent and strong growth performance and sustainability initiatives. We provide a comprehensive range of financial products and services including retail banking for individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, corporate and institutions, and access to the international financial market.
Our key products and services include Savings and Deposits, Payroll Management, Mortgages, Debit Cards and Personal Loans.
Standard Chartered currently employs 19 employees in the Falklands.
Standard Chartered Falklands celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Falklands in 2008.

Our corporate social responsibilities include; Seeing is Believing being a campaign that aims to eradicate blindness; Living with HIV / AIDS, a campaign to improve awareness and education on this global epidemic; conserving the environment by raising awareness – working with the Falklands Conservation we support the Watchgroup, a conservation group for children with age from 7-14 years. Standard Chartered also sponsor and organise the Standard Chartered Stanley Marathon, the most southerly AIMS certified marathon in the world and the only international sporting event in the Falklands.
