Recruitment of First Visually Impaired Employee

Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia recruited the first visually impaired employee, Fien Adriani, as CRES Help Desk Team starting June 2008. Prior joining SCB, Fien worked as an Operator as well as Customer Service for a Tours and Travel Company and continued as the Senior Secretary to the Holding company. Having studied at Foreign Language Institution in Bandung, West Java, majoring German Literature, Fien gave private lessons to teach both English and German. One of her students was the wife of Aa Gym, a Spiritual Guru. The recruitment of Fien is clearly reflecting the Diversity & Inclusion principle that we have in our Bank, where we give equal opportunity for every people to be in our team.
