Principal Plus is a product that offers a potentially higher rate of return compared to ordinary deposits. This product is designed to combine an ordinary deposit account with currency options.

How does Principal Plus work?
When a customer deposits their funds in SCD, a part of the interest received by the customer is used to buy FX options (EUR/USD, AUD/USD or other available currencies at Global Market/Treasury rates). Hence the customer has opportunities to obtain an additional higher rate of return.

• Opportunities to obtain a higher rate of return than an ordinary deposit.
• Initial minimum deposit of US$ 50,000 or equivalent (or later determined in accordance with market situation).
• Certainty of a minimum rate of return on the original investment.
• Protected investment principal.
• When the deposit is due, the principal investment is paid 100% in its original currency.
• Other alternative foreign currencies such as USD, GBP, AUD, JPY, CAD, NZD, EUR and other currencies as offered by Global Market.
• Option of terms (1 month minimum or as agreed by Global Market).

• American style - fixing any time during option period Example: Principal Plus with Double No Touch, Principal Plus with Double One Touch
• European style - fixing on expiry date. Example: Principal Plus at Expiry Range, Principal Plus at Expiry Wedding Cake

• Principal Plus is an investment product, the return rate of this product is determined by the fluctuation of the opted pairs of currencies.
• Launching Principal Plus must achieve a minimum size during the book building period, determined by Treasury.
• Allocation of Principal Plus may be postponed if during the book building period, minimum size is not achieved.
• This investment cannot be withdrawn before the previously determined due date.
