Terms and Conditions |

1. |
The “Progam” is open to all customers of Axcess Plus and SmartPay
propositions, including employees of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB)
and SCOPE. |
|
|
2. |
This is a limited period offer commencing from 1st January 2008.
Standard Chartered Bank reserves the right to withdraw this offer at
any point. |
|
|
3. |
Only valid transactions will be considered. Validity of a
transaction shall be at the sole discretion of SCB. If the account
holder reverses his / her Transaction for any reason, he /she may be
disqualified from The Program and rewards being offered under this
Program. |
|

4. |
SCB shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the
results of the Program and / or to intimate all customers of such
results. |
|
|
5. |
The cash back enumerated herein shall be non-transferable and /
or non-negotiable. |
|
|
6. |
The Program is not available wherever prohibited and / or cannot
be offered for any reason whatsoever. SCB shall be entitled, at its
sole discretion, to cancel the bonus points applicable under the
Program where such prohibition is applicable and / or cannot be
offered for any reason whatsoever. |

7. |
This Program shall not be available for Non-Resident customers /
Non-Resident accounts. |
|
|
8. |
These terms and conditions are in addition and not in derogation
to terms and conditions of Standard Chartered Bank Debit Cards. |

9. |
Any taxes leviable shall be borne by the account holder. |
|
|
10. |
The existence of a dispute, if any, under this Program shall not
constitute a claim against Standard Chartered Bank. |
|
|
11. |
All disputes under this Program are subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals of Mumbai. |
|
|
12. |
Standard Chartered Bank shall not be liable whatsoever for any
loss/damage/claim that may arise out of use or otherwise of any
service availed of by the Account cardholder under this promotion.

13. |
In all matters relating to this Program, the decision of SCB
shall be final and binding in all respects. |
