      Transfer
Use this facility to transfer money instantaneously. By using this service, you can transfer and make payments without ever having to step out of your home or office. Now this new feature also allows you to schedule a payment for a later date as well as schedule repeated payments over a specified time period (similar to a standing instruction)

Before making any third party fund transfer, you will need to register the beneficiary with the link available ‘Add a new fund transfer payee’. It’s a one time activity & the details would be stored till you do not remove it from the payee list. In case, if the payee can not be registered, a e-mail will be send to your secured inbox.

When registering a payee online, a one time random code is send to your mobile number that is registered with us. the same has to be entered for a successful payee registration.

There are three types of payment functions available:

Between own account
You can transfer funds within your own account

To third party account
Within your own Standard Chartered Bank Accounts,
Standard Chartered Bank Account to any non Standard Chartered Bank Account (NEFT),
Standard Chartered Bank Account to any Visa Debit or Credit Card (VMT)

SCB Credit Card repayment
In case you have a credit card with the bank, you can use this service to make your credit card payments without having to write out a cheque. This way you have total control on how much you want to pay against your credit dues.

The various payment statuses are:

Successful: The transaction has been processed successfully

Rejected: The transaction couldn’t be processed

Submitted: The transaction has been submitted to backend for processing. This status is seen generally for txns where fulfilment happens offline (eg: IBFT & VMT transactions)

Scheduled: submitted by customer but not yet sent to backend (typically seen in case of transactions carrying a future scheduled time/date)

Pending Approval: Applicable to checker-maker functions e.g Joint account and SME account where the instruction/transaction has been submitted to system pending for the ‘checker’ approval.

Details of scheduled and recurring transactions are also available on the same page. If needed, the details can even be modified by selecting the relevant hyperlink
