Mobile Top-up service

Standard Chartered Bank has introduced an easier way to top-up your Safaricom mobile. The service is easy to use and all one has to do is visit any Standard Chartered ATM. This is a new hassle-free way to load your Safaricom Mobile in a pleasant and private environment and you don't need to have cash on you.

Advantage of using this service:

  • You don't have to carry cash on you to top up your mobile
  • You can top up your phone 24 hours a day at any of our ATMs countrywide
  • You have an option to choose from five denominations to Top up your mobile.
  • The service is absolutely free!

So visit your nearest Standard Chartered ATM and get topped up.

Top-up Instructions

  1. Insert Card into the ATM and enter your PIN Number.
  2. Fast Cash Screen appears - Select "Other".
  3. This will display the 2nd Screen - Select "Other".
  4. Select "Service Payments" Option.
  5. Select "Mobile Top-Up" Option.
  6. Select the Denomination (Kenya Shillings Value) required.
  7. ATM will dispense your receipt with 12 Digit Re-charge Number (Popularly known as the Scratch Card Number).
  8. Dial 141 on you Safaricom Mobile and follow instructions.
