Airport Lounge Access FAQ's

How do I avail the free airport lounge facility?
You can visit any of the participating lounges mentioned in our brochure and flash your Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card to get complimentary access to the airport lounge. You will be required to sign on a "record-of-visit voucher" as an acknowledgement of your visit.

There are some airport lounges where you will be required to submit the lounge access coupon.

How do I get the Free Lounge Access Coupon for the mentioned airports?
You will receive the coupon from Standard Chartered Bank s.a.l. along with your Credit Card in a welcome pack. The coupons can be refilled for free upon request. Please contact us on +961 3 901212 for refilling the coupons.

Can Supplementary Card members avail this facility?
Your supplementary card member can use his/her supplementary card to access the participating lounges. The process to access the lounge remains exactly the same as that for a primary card member. Supplementary card members need not be accompanied by primary card members to avail the facility.

Is there any additional cost involved to avail the lounge facilities?
The lounge access to the participating lounges in the program is complimentary for Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card members.

How many airport lounges can I access using the Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card and which cities?
You can enjoy complimentary access to 71 airport lounges across the world. Please refer to the complete list of airport lounges mentioned in this leaflet. We also suggest you to visit our website www.standardchartered.com/lb for the updated list. All Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card members are automatically enrolled for the service and they do not need to fill any separate form.

How many members can access airport lounges?
Only the card member holding a valid Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card can avail this facility.

How many number of times can I visit the lounge?
You can visit any number of times at any of the participating lounges during the year without any cost, as long as your Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card is valid.

Can I take a guest with me to the lounge?
No. Guests are not eligible for free airport lounge access. Entry for any guests is subject to rules and regulations of the respective lounge and may vary from lounge to lounge. All guests will be charged at the lounge rates.

What facilities can I get at the lounge?
As a Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card customer, you can use all the facilities available at the participating lounges.

What if I am travelling on economy class?
This privilege is accessible for Standard Chartered Platinum Visa Credit Card members, irrespective of class of travel or airline.

Can I use the lounge irrespective of the airline I am flying with?
Yes. All participating lounges in our directory are open to all Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card members, irrespective of the airline you fly with.

What if I want to visit a lounge but I don't have my Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card with me?
You need to display your valid Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card to gain access to the lounge. The lounges staff will not be able to grant you access. It is therefore important to always carry your Standard Chartered Visa Platinum Credit Card with you.

Important Note

Children below 5 years of age (one) shall be allowed to enter the Lounge (with an accompanying credit cardholder); however it remains at the discretion of the lounge's management (which may refuse entry of children without explanation). Each Airport Lounge shall be entitled to request and require the "client's credit cardholder" to remove accompanying children from the lounge in the event that the children are noisy, unruly, or a nuisance to other lounge users
