Sujit Mundul retires as SCB Nepal CEO

Mr. Sujit Mundul retired from the position of Nepal CEO (w.e.f May 1, 2011) after over 38 years with the Standard Chartered Bank. He spent his last 8 years of his career in the capacity of CEO of SCB Nepal.

Anurag Mishra, Head of Wholesale Banking, has assumed the responsibility of the Acting Chief Executive until further announcement. Mr Mishra has been with Standard Chartered Bank for the last 15 years and like Mr Mundul, had been assigned from the Group to Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd.

Sujit Mundul will continue to be associated with the Bank as a Non Executive Director (NED) on the board of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd. & will also be a member of the Bank’s Audit Committee.
