Standard Chartered extends financial support to Gajendra Budathoki

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd has extended a financial support for the medical treatment of Gajendra Budathoki, a renowned economic journalist of Rajdhani Daily and a member of Society of Economic Journalists – Nepal (SEJAN). Sujit Mundul, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd handed over a cheque of NPR 50,000 to Mr Budathoki at B & B Hospital, Gwarko today.

Mr Mundul, on his personal note and on behalf of the Bank wished him a speedy recovery. He also expressed his confidence that Mr Budathoki will recover soon and that the Nepalese public will continue to savour a good quality economic journalism flowing from the pens of Mr Budathoki.

Mr Budathoki thanked the Bank for the generous contribution made for the cause.

It may be recalled that Mr Budathoki had been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident near Bhadrakali few months back.
