Standard Chartered involves in Greenery Project

In response to growing environmental challenges, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd, launched a Greenery Project in the Hariharbhawan Road. The Project was jointly inaugurated by Sujit Mundul, CEO of SCB Nepal and Executive Officer of Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City (LSMC), Krishna Prasad Devekota. They jointly planted the saplings of Ficus Benzamina (Sami) and Podocarpas amidst a special function held today.
Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd had earlier entered into an agreement with LSMC to launch this Project. The Bank has planted altogether 80 saplings, mainly flower bearing, alongside the Hariharbhawan stretch with proper tree-guards.
This project has been launched with a view to help in preservation of greenery in the area.
