in arranging limited or non-recourse, receivables-backed,
performance risk driven finance to exporters of commodities
and related services from Emerging Markets. These transactions
tend to be medium term in tenor and are supported by the Standard
Chartered's willingness to take on country risk in many countries
in Asia, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America, and
by its global distribution capabilities.
