1. These terms and conditions apply only to Nokia Standard Chartered credit cardholders ("Cardholders").2. Unless otherwise stated in the application form of a Nokia Standard Chartered credit card ("Card"), an annual fee of Php1,200 per principal Card and Php600 per supplementary Card shall be charged to the Cardholder´s account. Standard Chartered Bank ("Bank") reserves the right to modify the annual fee upon proper notice to the Cardholder.3. By signing the Card application form, or otherwise signing on or using the Card, the Cardholder expressly agrees to all Terms and Conditions herein ("Terms") and acknowledges that the Bank´s determination of eligibility to, and computation of, Cardholder entitlement to Cash Rebates is final and binding.4. The Bank may amend or modify any of these Terms upon notice to the Cardholder.5. Unless manifestly inconsistent with these Terms (in which event these Terms shall prevail), the terms and conditions governing Standard Chartered Bank credit cards shall apply to the Cards.
Nokia Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
a. "Nokia Rewards Program" refers to the loyalty program extended to Cardholders.b. "Cash Rebates" means pesos earned by Cardholders through transactions completed on their Card, subject to the terms and conditions herein. Each Cash Rebate is equivalent to Php1.00.c. "Account" means the Cardholder´s Card account with the Bank.d. "Supplementary Cardholder" means the person to whom an additional Card is issued upon instructions of the Cardholder in respect of the Cardholder´s Account.e. "EZ Bills" refers to the Bank´s automated payment facility wherein the Cardholder enrolls customer accounts for periodic settlement of utility bills / charges / statements of account through his / her Card.f. "Eligible Transaction" means any retail, non-installment transaction successfully charged to the Card; provided the same has not been disputed, requested for reversal, nor determined to have been erroneously or fraudulently completed.g. "Prepaid Load Facility" refers to the Bank´s prepaid mobile phone loading facility wherein Cardholders can purchase electronic prepaid load ("Prepaid Load") via short message service ("SMS") through the use of an enrolled mobile phone and charging the amounts to his Card.h. "Prepaid Load Transaction" refers to any request for Prepaid Load coursed and completed through the Prepaid Load Facility using the Bank-prescribed syntax.
2. Eligibility and Participation
a. Nokia Rewards Program is open to all Cardholders of good standing as determined by the Bank, including Cardholders of newly issued and activated Cards.b. The Bank reserves the right to temporarily or permanently disqualify any Cardholder from further participation in the Nokia Rewards Program if, in the Bank´s judgment, that Cardholder has violated any of the Terms or any of the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Standard Chartered Bank credit cards. Disqualification may result in both cancellation of Cardholder´s right to privileges of the Nokia Rewards Program and forfeiture of all earned and accumulated Cash Rebates.c. Any determination by the Bank of fraud or improper use attendant or incidental to a transaction or other use of the Card, or relating to the earning or redemption of Cash Rebates, may result in forfeiture of accumulated Cash Rebates as well as cancellation of the Cardholder´s credit cards.d. All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for, or redemption of, Cash Rebates shall be resolved by the Bank at its sole discretion.
3. Accumulation of Cash Rebates
a. Cardholders shall earn 0.5% Cash Rebates for all completed Eligible Transactions.b. In addition to the 0.5% Cash Rebates, principal Cardholders shall earn further Cash Rebates for the following transactions:
i. 9.5% Cash Rebates applicable to a maximum of Php 2,500 worth of Prepaid Load Transactions completed through the Prepaid Load Facility per month.ii. 4.5% Cash Rebates applicable to a maximum of Php 2,500 worth of postpaid mobile phone bills charged to EZ Bills per month.
Transactions exceeding the Php 2,500 maximum limit shall continue earning 0.5% Cash Rebates.c. Earning of Cash Rebates shall be on a per transaction basis and shall be rounded off to the nearest peso, excluding decimal values.d. Transactions not eligible for Cash Rebates include, but are not limited to, installment, balance transfer, cash advance, cash advance fee, overlimit fee, card replacement fee, sales retrieval fee, annual membership fee, finance charges, late payment charges, interest charges and government charges.e. Cash Rebates earned on the principal and all supplementary Cards shall be consolidated. The accumulated Cash Rebates shall be indicated on the principal Cardholder´s monthly billing statement while the Card account remains open and current.f. Existing Standard Chartered Bank cardholders who avail of the Card as an add-on card shall be eligible for the respective distinct rewards programs corresponding to card type owned.g. Existing Standard Chartered Bank cardholders who convert their existing cards to a Card may request conversion of their outstanding Bonus Points or Cash Rewards to Cash Rebates at the applicable conversion rate.h. Cash Rebates shall expire at the end of every 24th month from the corresponding approval or renewal month of the Card. At the end of each 24th month, the Cardholder´s total Cash Rebates−regardless of the date it was earned−shall be reset to zero.i. The Bank may make proper adjustments to Cash Rebates earned without need of prior notice or consent of the Cardholder in the event of any improper credit(s) to the Account, including but not limited to those arising from returned purchases, charged back transactions and disputed or unauthorized / fraudulent transactions.j. The Bank may amend, modify or eliminate the earning of Cash Rebates on the Card, upon proper notice to the Cardholder.
4. Cash Rebates Redemption
a. Only principal Cardholders whose Accounts are active, valid and in good standing, as determined by the Bank, shall be eligible to redeem their Cash Rebates.b. Cardholders may redeem their accumulated Cash Rebates, subject to a minimum redemption amount of Php500.c. Only the Cardholder´s accumulated Cash Rebates reflected in the Bank´s system may be redeemed by the Cardholder. Cardholders may call the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111 to inquire about his/her earned Cash Rebates.d. Cardholders shall have the option to redeem their earned Cash Rebates through any of the following:
i. Cash Credits to the Card
1. To redeem earned Cash Rebates as cash credits, Cardholder shall call the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111, subject to the minimum redemption amount.2. Redeemed Cash Rebates shall be credited to the Cardholder´s Account as cash credits on the next billing statement.
ii. Availment of a Nokia Phone featured in the Best Deals Program
1. Cardholders may redeem their earned Cash Rebates to avail of a Nokia Phone featured in the Best Deals Program. Featured Nokia Phones may be viewed at the Nokia Best Deals webpage at www.standardchartered.com/ph.2. The Cash Rebates required to redeem a featured Nokia Phone shall be indicated on the website as "Full Redemption". 3. In the event that the Cardholder´s available Cash Rebates are insufficient to redeem under Full Redemption, the Cardholder may also avail of a Nokia Phone via "Fast Track Redemption", which allows redemption using a minimum of Php500 Cash Rebates paired with a straight charge or oneµtime retail transaction on the Card.4. In case of Fast Track Redemption, the straight charge transaction shall, subject to Cardholder´s available credit limit and upon approval by the Bank, automatically be charged to the corresponding Card and reflected in the Account´s next monthly billing as a retail debit transaction. Such straight charge transaction shall upon posting to the Cardholder´s billing statement, also earn Cash Rebates.5. To redeem earned Cash Rebates to avail of a Nokia Phone, Cardholder shall complete a Rewards Redemption Form. The Cardholder may download the form from the Nokia Rewards webpage at www.standardchartered.com/ph or request the same by calling the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111. 6. All redemptions are subject to sufficiency of earned Cash Rebates and the Bank´s final approval. Requested redemptions may be automatically cancelled in the event of insufficient Cash Rebates and / or insufficient credit limit.7. Redemption of Cash Rebates for a Nokia Phone is subject to the terms and conditions of the Best Deals Program.
e. Cash Rebates are not eligible for redemption after closure of an Account, whether voluntary or involuntary. However, a Cardholder voluntarily canceling a Card may be allowed to redeem available Cash Rebates as cash credits, subject to the minimum redemption amount of Php500. Any remaining unredeemed Cash Rebates shall be forfeited.f. Cardholders who voluntarily cancel their Cards but choose to retain another Standard Chartered credit card may convert their earned Cash Rebates to Bonus Points or Platinum Cash Rewards, as applicable, subject to the minimum redemption amount of Php500 and at the applicable conversion rate.g. Cash Rebates are non-transferable and may not be converted to cash.h. Once a valid redemption request has been made, a Cardholder may not cancel, revoke or modify the request.
Best Deals Program Terms and Conditions
1. The Best Deals Program ("Program") is open to all Cardholders whose Account is active, valid and in good standing, as determined by the Bank. 2. The Program allows Cardholders to avail of select models of Nokia mobile phones ("Nokia Phone") featured on the Nokia Best Deals webpage at www.standardchartered.com.ph, through any of the following means:
a. charged to the Card as a straight charge or one−time retail transactionb. charged to the Card on installment for 6 or 12 month tenors at zero (0%) interest ratec. redeemed via Full Redemption or Fast Track Redemption of Cash Rebates under the Nokia Rewards Program, subject to the terms and conditions of the Nokia Rewards Program.
3. Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as constituting a guarantee of lowest prices for Nokia phones.4. All requests to avail of a Nokia Phone under the Program are subject to approval by the Bank, who shall have no obligation to disclose the reason for declined requests.5. To avail of the offer on installment or as a straight charge, Cardholder must complete a Purchase Order Form and fax the same to the Bank at 830-1106. To avail of the offer under the Cash Rebates redemption programs, Cardholder must complete a Rewards Redemption Form and fax the same to the Bank at 830-1106. Both forms may be downloaded from the Card webpage at www.standardchartered.com/ph or requested by calling the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111.6. The Card shall be charged the amount corresponding to the availed Nokia Phone as indicated on the Card webpage at www.standardchartered.com/ph as of date of Bank´s receipt of the Purchase Order Form or Rewards Redemption Form. In the event that the relevant price as reflected on the website differs from that found on any of the forms received by the Bank, the Bank may either refuse to accept the order or accept the order at the price reflected on the website.7. The Cardholder expressly authorizes the Bank to disclose relevant personal information and details to the authorized Nokia vendor and its accredited courier agency to facilitate delivery of the Nokia Phone. 8. The Nokia Phone may be delivered to the Cardholder´s billing address or alternate address as reflected in the Bank´s system, as indicated by the Cardholder on the faxed Purchase Order Form or Rewards Redemption Form. In the event that the Cardholder did not indicate a preference, delivery shall be made to the Cardholder´s billing address.9. Subject to stock availability, the accredited delivery agency shall make three (3) attempts to deliver the Nokia Phone within ten (10) banking days from date of approval.10. If delivery remains unsuccessful after the third attempt, the Cardholder may request for re-delivery by calling Standard Chartered Bank at 830-1111. Requests for re−delivery are subject to a delivery fee of P300 for every three (3) attempts, should the previous unsuccessful delivery attempts be attributable to the Cardholder.11. The Bank shall not be liable for improper delivery, mis−delivery or non-delivery of any Nokia Phone. Neither the Bank nor the authorized Nokia vendor shall be liable for any failure to deliver the items within the prescribed period due to any fortuitous event.12. Upon delivery of the Nokia Phone, the Cardholder must present a valid ID with photo (may be any of the following: Driver´s License, Passport, PRC License, SSS ID, TIN ID, BIR ID, Company ID, NBI Clearance or Senior Citizen´s ID).13. If a representative has been designated by the Cardholder in the Purchase Order Form or Rewards Redemption Form, such representative may receive the Nokia Phone on behalf of the Cardholder, upon presentation of such designated representative´s valid ID with photo (as listed in item 12 above). In the absence of the designated representative, a third party may receive the items upon presentation of all of the following to the delivery representative:
a. Authorization letter signed by the Cardholder;b. Cardholder´s valid ID with photo (as listed in item 12 above)
14. The Cardholder or authorized representative must inspect and ensure that the Nokia Phone is the right model and all accessories are complete prior to receiving the same. Nokia Phones with incomplete accessories should not be accepted, in which event a new Nokia Phone shall be delivered within ten (10) working days. 15. The Bank is not the seller, and does not make any warranty as to the condition, use or quality of the Nokia Phone. Cardholders who avail a Nokia Phone under the Best Deals Program are customers of the authorized Nokia vendor and shall direct any queries or complaints pertaining to such Nokia Phone to the vendor.16. For after-sales service, Cardholder may call the Nokia Careline at 886-1234 or proceed to any Nokia Care Center nationwide and present the invoice and complete Nokia Phone kit (mobile phone unit, accessories, manual and box).
Prepaid Load Facility Terms and Conditions
1. "Prepaid Load Facility" refers to the Bank´s prepaid mobile phone loading facility wherein Cardholders can purchase electronic prepaid load ("Prepaid Load") via short message service ("SMS") through the use of an enrolled mobile phone and charging the amounts to his Card.2. Prepaid Load Transaction" refers to any request for Prepaid Load coursed and completed through the Prepaid Load Facility using the Bank-prescribed syntax.3. "Access Number" refers to the mobile phone number to which Cardholders may send instructions, using Bank-prescribed syntax. 4. To avail of the Prepaid Load Facility, Cardholders are required to enroll by calling the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111. Enrollment is open to all Cardholders whose Accounts are active, valid, in good standing and have sufficient credit limit to cover the required amount to be earmarked for the duration of the Cardholder´s enrollment to the Prepaid Load Facility. The earmarked amount will be equivalent to the daily Prepaid Load Transaction limit defined by the Bank.5. Cardholders are allowed to avail of Prepaid Load in denominations specified by the Bank.6. Each Cardholder may enroll only one mobile phone number ("Enrolled Number"), this shall exclusively be the mobile phone number allowed to request Prepaid Load Transactions in respect of such Cardholder. The Enrolled Number does not have to be owned by, or be in the name of, the Cardholder nor be reflected on the Cardholder´s record in the Bank´s system...7. Upon enrollment, the Bank shall send an enrollment confirmation SMS to the Enrolled Number advising the Cardholder to activate the enrollment. In the event that no SMS message is received, the Cardholder may call the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111 to verify status of the enrollment.8. To activate enrollment, Cardholder must assign a Mobile Personal Identification Number ("MPIN") by sending an SMS message using the prescribed syntax within fourteen (14) calendar days from enrollment date. Otherwise, enrollment shall be cancelled and Cardholder must call the Bank´s Contact Centre to re−enroll.9. Upon activation, the Cardholder shall receive an SMS message confirming activation. In the event no such SMS activation confirmation is received, the Cardholder may either resend the message or call the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111 to check status of the activation request.10. Upon registration and activation, an amount of P500 to cover Prepaid Load Transaction charges shall be earmarked from the Cardholder´s credit limit every month, for the duration of the Cardholder´s registration to the Prepaid Load Facility. Such earmarked amount shall be held to cover for charges other than, and thus shall be independent of, any Prepaid Load Transactions, 11. Once activated, the Cardholder may from time to time request for Prepaid Load to be credited to any Smart, Globe or Sun Cellular prepaid account using the Enrolled Number, by sending an SMS in the Bank-prescribed syntax to the Access Number. Once a Prepaid Load request has been sent, the Cardholder may not cancel, revoke or modify the same.12. The Bank shall send an SMS confirmation to the Cardholder for each completed Prepaid Load Transaction. In the event no SMS confirmation was received or the Prepaid Load credit was not received, Cardholder may call the Bank´s Contact Centre at 830-1111 to check the status of the transaction. The Cardholder shall not re-send the same request as Prepaid Load requests consecutively sent shall be treated and processed as separate requests.13. Each Prepaid Load Transaction shall be subject to the Bank´s approval based on, but not limited to, Card status and the Cardholder´s available credit limit. 14. Each Cardholder shall have a daily Prepaid Load Transaction limit ("Daily Limit") of P500 per regular banking day (Mondays to Fridays). On weekends and public holidays, only the unused portion of the Daily Limit on the preceding banking day shall be available. Prepaid Load Transactions exceeding the Daily Limit shall not be processed by the Bank.15. All approved Prepaid Load Transactions shall automatically be charged to the corresponding Card and reflected in the Cardholder Account´s next monthly billing as a retail debit transaction.16. In the event that the Card is reported lost or stolen, the Cardholder´s enrollment for the Prepaid Load Facility shall be suspended. Upon Card replacement, enrollment to the Prepaid Load Facility shall automatically resume within seven (7) banking days from Card delivery, without need for re−enrollment or re-activation. The Cardholder may continue using his/her existing Enrolled Number and MPIN.17. The Cardholder shall be responsible for the confidentiality and security of his/her MPIN. The Cardholder shall be exclusively liable for all Prepaid Load Transactions effected via the corresponding Enrolled Number and MPIN.18. In the event that the SIM card of the Enrolled Number is lost or stolen, the Cardholder should immediately notify the Bank´s Contact Centre. Any Prepaid Load Transactions requested and/or completed prior to proper report of the loss or theft shall be for the Cardholder´s Account.19. All Enrolled Number and/or MPIN change requests shall be coursed through the Bank´s Contact Centre. The Cardholder shall be required to activate the new MPIN after the old one has been reset by the Bank.20. Enrollment to the Service may automatically be cancelled for Cardholders with delinquent or blocked Card accounts. Cardholders may call the Bank´s Contact Centre for more information or details.21. All SMS sent using the Enrolled Number in relation to the Prepaid Load Facility shall be subject to the standard SMS transmission cost, as determined by the corresponding telecommunications providers; these shall be for the sole account of the Cardholder.22. Cardholders enrolled in the Prepaid Load Facility expressly authorize the Bank to disclose relevant personal information and details to the accredited Prepaid Load vendor relative to their Prepaid Load Transaction.23. The Cardholder understands that the Bank makes no warranties as to the quality of service by the accredited Prepaid Load vendor and any of the telecommunications providers. The Bank shall therefore not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury attributable to errors in, or unavailability of, the accredited Prepaid Load vendor´s system or any telecommunications provider´s system.24. The Cardholder may request for temporary cancellation of access to the Prepaid Load Facility. Access to the use of the Prepaid Load Facility shall resume after the Cardholder calls the Bank´s Contact Centre to request for re-activation.25. Cardholders may cancel their enrollment to the Prepaid Load Facility at any time by calling the Bank´s Contact Centre. The earmarked amount from the Cardholder´s credit limit shall be released after a month from cancellation.26. By activating and using the Prepaid Load Facility, the Cardholder accepts the Terms and Conditions as set forth herein, and as may be modified from time to time via notice to the Cardholder.
