Standard Chartered hosts traditional North Indian Art Exhibition
03 February, Qatar - Standard Chartered Bank in collaboration with Birla Public School held an exclusive painting exhibition at the Bank's D Ring Road Branch on the afternoon of 29th of January. Mrs. Smita Aloni, a Doha based freelance artist presented her Phad Paintings; a traditional North Indian art developed during the 16th century. Alongside were paintings created by the students whose works involved water color, mixed media, glass, ceramic and collage and were also showcased at the event.
The students were accompanied by their parents and Mrs. Shirly Rappai, Vice Principal of Birla Public School along with customers of the Bank with their children.
On the occasion, Smita Aloni said, "The art exhibition organised with Standard Chartered Bank was a pleasant experience for me as well as my students. Following the response and success of this event, I will definitely consider Standard Chartered as my Bank for future projects."
