Standard Chartered co-hosts reception for key clients with British Embassy
Doha, 11 January 2012 - Standard Chartered Bank and the British Embassy held a Reception on Wednesday, 11 January to mark the visit to Qatar of the Bank's Regional Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, Christos Papadopoulos.
The Reception was co-hosted by Charles Carlson, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank in Qatar and HE John Hawkins, the British Ambassador to Qatar. Guests included senior members of the Qatari and British business communities, diplomats and dignitaries.
Charles Carlson commented, "As well as underlining Standard Chartered's commitment to Qatar, this event was an opportunity for Christos and I, along with other executives of the Bank, to meet and strengthen our relationships with our valued clients.
