Senior Qatari appointment at Standard Chartered
Head of Human Resources appointment in Qatar reflects the Bank's commitment to localisation.
18 October 2011, Doha -Standard Chartered Bank has announced the appointment of Aysha Al Shriem as the Head of Human Resources in Qatar.
Aysha is an HR professional with progressive leadership experience in Human Resource functions from The Qatar Financial Centre Authority as well as QatarGas Operating Co. Ltd.
Commenting on the appointment, Charles Carlson, CEO for Standard Chartered Qatar said,

Aysha's primary responsibility in her new role will be to work on a robust talent development plan for Qataris at all levels. This will include upgrading the skill level of the existing talent pool of locals at the Bank.
