Global Business Coalition on HIV / AIDS

Standard Chartered is a founding and active member of the Global Business Coalition on HIV / AIDS (GBC).

The GBC is the pre-eminent business organisation leading the business fight against HIV/AIDS. Over 130 leading international companies are members of the GBC and are committed to harnessing the power of the international business community to fight the AIDS pandemic.

Standard Chartered shares the GBC vision of business taking a lead on addressing the HIV pandemic through its staff peer HIV/AIDS campaigns such as Staying Alive and Living with HIV. Standard Chartered's Living with HIV won the GBC 2003 Award for Business Excellence in the Workplace.
