Our performance

Norkom Alchemist - our anti-money laundering monitoring system - is fully operational in eight countries.

New screening systems in our key payment centres are significantly improving our ability to identify transactions that could be linked to sanctioned terrorist suspects and stop payments before they are completed.

In 2007, our staff filed more than twenty five reports through our Speaking Up programme, helping us to identify areas where we might need to strengthen our controls.

Thanks to the effectiveness of our systems and the vigilance of our staff, we passed more reports of potentially suspicious transactions to the relevant authorities than in previous years.
