Letter of Credit Negotiation

If documents are found to be discrepant, it may be possible to negotiate them. This depends on a number of factors and will be at the discretion of your Relationship Manager. Alternatives to negotiating them include cabling the Letter of Credit issuing bank for authorisation to negotiate despite the listed discrepancies, and sending the documents to the issuing bank for approval and payment.
