Elaine Chin is Managing Director and Head of Corporate Affairs for Standard Chartered Bank in the Americas. Based in New York City, Ms. Chin is a member of Standard Chartered Bank Americas' senior management team and reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the Americas and the Regional Head of Corporate Affairs for Europe and the Americas.

Elaine is responsible for managing the bank's Corporate Affairs function for the Americas, which includes Internal Communications, External Communications, Brand, Sponsorship and Sustainability.

Elaine joined the bank in 1998 and spent the early part of her career in various roles in Human Resources and Organization Learning. She has lived and worked for Standard Chartered in both Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Elaine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Human Development and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology, both from Boston College.
