Introduction
eStatement is a facility that allows customers to get their bank statement through via email. The statements are sent to the customer at their desired frequency and can be accessed at their convenience.
Product Overview
A customer can subscribe by either filling in the eStatement application form and take it to the nearest Branch or simply call the Standard Chartered Contact Centre. Details needed are; the customer name, account number, contact number and an email address. The customer will also indicate the desired frequency which could be; Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly.
Features
The eStatement service is absolutely free; customers are not charged any fee for the service regardless the frequency at which they receive the statement.
The eStatement service is password protected and therefore very secure; no one can open the statement or view it without entering the correct password.
An eStatement takes the same format as a conventional paper statement.
An eStatements can be sent to a maximum of three email addresses.
eStatements are part of Standard Chartered Banks friendly approach to the environment.
