What is DStv Payments?
It is a facility where customers and non-customers can pay for their DStv subscriptions through any of our branches for a flat fee of $2.
Is the charge the same for someone paying for 1month subscription, 6months or the whole year?
Yes, the commission charge is a flat fee of $2 regardless of subscription period or bouquet.
Are there any reconnection penalties?
No, MultiChoice Zimbabwe does not charge any penalty fee for account reconnection.
When will I be reconnected after paying my account?
MultiChoice Zimbabwe will connect or reconnect a customer's account the same day before 6pm. Customers should ensure the decoder is left on Channel 108.
Can one subscribe for their DSTV in South Africa whilst here in Zimbabwe?
No, payments are only applicable for customers subscribed with MultiChoice Zimbabwe.
How does a client open a new DSTV account?
A customer will need to visit MultiChoice offices (in Harare, Chitungwiza, Bulawayo and Mutare) in order to get a DStv Account Number. New customers will need to provide MultiChoice with their ID's and proof of residence. If they are bringing a decoder with them they must also show proof of purchase or receipt. Currently MultiChoice Zimbabwe is not yet offering online registration facility.
Can customers pay for subscriptions using ZAR, BWP, EUR & GBP?
Yes, the applicable charges are shown on the DStv Rate Schedule.
NB: The amount will be converted to USD first using the Bank's prevailing rate to cover the bouquet and commission charge.
How should customer queries be dealt with?

Telecall Centre opens from Mon-Sat 7am-7pm, and Sun 8am-5pm.
